Daimler Trucks Perth have continued with their tradition of dedicating Demonstrator Trucks to local charities with the introduction of a new Actros 2663LS SoloStar prime mover “Dandelion”.
Dandelions WA do a truly amazing job in Western Australia caring for the homeless, underprivileged and victims of domestic abuse. Whilst “Dandelion” is plying her trade with Daimler’s customers there will be collection boxes throughout the dealership and both staff and customers alike will be encouraged to donate to this worthy cause.
Equipped with the full suite of Mercedes-Benz safety systems as you would expect from a top of the range Actros, Dandelion is the first Mercedes to hit Western Australian roads equipped with Active Drive Assist where the truck will adjust steering autonomously to assist the driver to stay in lane.
